I have created and facilitated art related programs for students aged two to adult in museums, non-profit organizations, traditional schools, and as a private tutor for groups and individuals for nearly 15 years. The pandemic has necessitated creative solutions for education and I’ve had the great honor to create virtual learning programs for Pennsylvania Public Libraries and the Carnegie Museum of Art. I am also so grateful to offer Art @ Home virtual programs from my home studio through Zoom since the fall of 2020.

Charcoal is a versatile material with the ability to create amazing three dimensional effects and detail. This material is messy so wear clothes that you feel comfortable getting dirty. Please bring a black and white image for inspiration. Images will be provided for those who do not have one. The supplies suggested are below:- compressed charcoal squares (this material is preferred but you could also participate with vine charcoal or charcoal pencils)- 6 or more pieces of watercolor, charcoal or chalk paper (variety of sizes and colors is fine)- rubber eraser- paintbrush and water cup – facial tissue, paper towels or chamois
