I have created and facilitated art related programs for students aged two to adult in museums, non-profit organizations, traditional schools, and as a private tutor for groups and individuals for over ten years. Here are just some ideas on how I can bring visual arts to your home, organization, or workplace. I am available on weekends and occasional weekday evenings and mornings. I prefer to stay within the South Hills of Pittsburgh, within close proximity of my residence, for reoccurring lessons.
Private Lessons for Children
Whether your high school student is interested in pursuing an art major in college and needs to build a portfolio or your school aged child loves to draw and wants to spend out-of-school time exploring, I can help you! After a meeting with you and your child to learn your specific needs and goals, I’ll propose specific projects and a supply list to make it happen.
Private Lessons for Adults
If you have an interest in learning a new artistic skill or want to pick-up where you left off, but scheduling a class has become too difficult to fit into your schedule, I can help you. We’ll begin with building a composition and making marks from observation and work at a pace and style that makes sense for you. We can experiment with a variety of materials including but not limited to charcoal, chalk pastel, graphite, oil pastel, and acrylic paint.
Have littles at home but you’re not sure how to keep them busy all day? I can help you. We will develop artful activities that will be fun for you and your kids. From cardboard robots to collaged princess crowns, activities will be developmentally appropriate and customized to meet the interests of your family.
Want to do something with your girlfriends for a girls night out or need an idea for your child’s birthday party? I can help you. From screenprinted baby onesies for a baby shower to superhero portraits for your child’s birthday, I can help make your celebration memorable for you and your guests.
